How it started
One summer, our little backyard garden went absolutely feral. Tomatoes everywhere. Cucumbers stacked like firewood. Peppers we didn't even remember planting. We had two choices: panic, or pickle.
We chose pickle.
"If you've ever sealed a jar and watched the lid pop, you know — that little sound is hope. That's our whole company.
— Pam & Joey
The first jar
Bread & butter pickles. Slightly too sweet. Glorious. We gave them to our neighbors. They asked when we'd have more. So we made more. And more. And, well — here we are.
Why we love what we do
Every jar is hand-packed in our kitchen. We test, we tweak, we taste (a lot). When we find something that makes us go "oh — oh" — that's when it gets a label.
Small batch isn't a marketing line for us. It's the only way we know how.

State Fair champions
We started entering our jars at the NC State Fair and the NC Mountain State Fair — and we kept coming home with ribbons. Thirty-nine of them, in just two years.
Every blue ribbon is proof that small-batch, hand-packed jars can stand up to the best. We don't make pickles for the judges — but it sure feels good when the judges agree.
